Our Story
Our story began over 9 years ago during fellowship meetings when we never even thought we would one day be Mr and Mrs. Fast forward to the year 2022 during the national youth conference. I started to observe her to be more than just a friend, yet I thought it was just one of those moments were you admire a young, beautiful and God fearing lady but would soon move on as distance comes to play.

Our journey together felt like a beautiful whirlwind, with the days and months slipping by so quickly as we discovered more about each other. Then, on a magical night in the heart of Lusaka, on August 25, 2024, under the glow of the city lights, I said yes to his ring 💍—a moment that marked the beginning of an even deeper love and commitment.
From the very start, our relationship has been anchored in God. Every step we’ve taken has been guided by prayer, seeking His wisdom and direction. Together, we have shared the joy of music, the depth of Bible study, and the beauty of learning from one another.
He has been my pillar of strength, a true blessing in my life. Through every season—the highs and the challenges—he has stood by me, uplifting and encouraging me. And for that, I am truly grateful. 💛

Our journey to us felt like we were in the fast lane because months rolled by very quickly and we kept learning of each other. On a beautiful night in Lusaka city on 25 August 2024, she accepted my ring đź’Ť and we have since grown to love and cherish each other more and more.
This relationship has its base in God. He has been present since day one and every step we took was and has been led by prayerfully seeking God’s direction and guidance. As a preacher and a singer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing us having beautiful moments in music, bible study and learning from other preachers.
She has been a huge blessing and point of strength for me in the different situations of life and when it has been tough she has kept me going, a blessing indeed.Â
After the youth conference, on 7th January 2023, she texted me asking for the number of the youth chairperson of my congregation. Today I think on that day and still don’t understand how excited I was, it felt like God was bringing her to me.
On 13th March, we met for our 3rd date and the intention was to try and get to know her better when I suddenly realized I did not need to know her anymore than I did to make up my mind because it was already made up. I gathered courage and in a way I didn’t plan spoke my mind and heart to her as I proposed. I did not expect her to respond instantly, however, as we were about to board a bus heading to town, she answered me and it was a yes! I had to contain myself but as soon as I reached home it felt like a jackpot.
One of many special moments spent together rooting and supporting each other as we celebrate each other's achievements and growths in different veins of our lives.
